1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and utilizing Class Schedule Maker & Gap Optimizer ("the Service"), you agree to abide by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, you should discontinue use of the platform immediately.
2. Educational Fair Use & Advisory Nature
The Service is provided as an open educational utility designed to assist collegiate students in planning academic schedules and visualizing time intervals. The Service is not an official university registrar tool and does not formally register or enroll you in academic courses.
Users are solely responsible for verifying final course numbers, pre-requisite eligibility, section capacities, and official registration deadlines with their respective university registrar and academic advising offices.
3. Intellectual Property & Calendar Export
The algorithms, design layout, and interface components are proprietary. Users are granted a revocable, non-exclusive license to export, print, and download generated schedules (.PNG and .ICS formats) for personal, non-commercial educational scheduling.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. In no event shall Class Schedule Optimizer, its maintainers, or affiliates be liable for missed registration deadlines, full section enrollments, or academic advising conflicts resulting from the use of the platform.
5. Governing Law & Modification
We reserve the right to revise these terms at any time. Continued usage of the Service following revisions constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms of Service.
